Ladies Man Chan

Happy Monday!  I have been asked by Park and several of Cooper's teachers to make him a "Ladies Man Chan" t-shirt since that's his nickname at daycare.  So I was finally able to make one for him and pretty happy with how it turned out!  And he just looks adorable in it.  :)  Why do they call him ladies man?  Because he flirts with all the ladies!  He would give them his special Cooper look with a little raised eyebrow and a smile and they are all smitten by him! That's why he has to have a Ladies Man shirt.   

 

He also has a little lady friend that they call his "girlfriend" :)  She is a month younger than Cooper and they are always together, playing together, chatting together, as you can see in the picture below. 

 

And this last picture is Cooper getting ready for breakfast of oatmeal cereal. 

Weekend Fun

We have been taking advantage of this great weather we have been having lately.  We started the weekend off with Cooper eating cereal!  I had been training him for a few days then he figured out how to swallow and did not stop eating.  He is a champ at eating now!  Looking ahead, our fridge and pantry will be fully stocked until probably both kids are out of the house!  They are both big eaters!! 

 

 

We spent a lazy afternoon at Piedmont Park with a few friends and their babies on Saturday and that was a lot of fun.  Getting fresh air and letting Alyssa run around to work off some of that energy.

 

 

 

 

Then on Sunday we just ran some errands and played in the yard.  I love the video below of Alyssa and Dad riding the bike.  I love her laugh when she rides by.  Every time she watches this video, she'll laugh when she hears herself laughing.  So cute!

 

 

Spring Pictures

Our spring pictures are here!!!  Here are just 8 of the ones we have ordered.  Yup, just 8.  There were about 30+ pictures and they did not have a package where you can buy all of the images so we just picked our most favorites.  Wish we could have purchased all of the images they were offering but would have cost us $1,000!  Ok, I'm exaggerating...it'll be maybe half that but these are the 8 we love the most.  Enjoy!

 



4 Month Family Session

A couple of weeks ago, we meet up with Angelina again for our family session and as always, she did an awesome job!!  It was a beautiful sunny day.  Well...it was sunny, but also cold and windy!  I don't think it helped being surrounded by tall buildings in downtown Atlanta.  We shot this session in Woodruff Park and the last time Park and I were there, it was for a beer fest!  Woodruff Park has come a long way since our last visit.  It's really nice now. :)  Alyssa wasn't in the best of moods in the beginning and we had to do a lot of tickling to get her to smile.  Here are just some of my favorites...

Cooper Rolled Over

For about a week now, Cooper has been trying really hard to roll over and he finally did it!  But then he gets upset when he rolls over, not happy about doing tummy time!  Here's a video of him rolling over.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!!  I have been scouring pinterest the last few week for a fun project for St. Patrick's Day.  Once I had what I wanted to make, I went out and got plain white shirts for the kids, then made my design and painted them on the shirts.  And here are the results!  

 

 

This was such a fun project and couldn't wait for the holiday to come for the kids to wear them.  I'm very happy with the way they turned out but if I could do it again, I would have done several coats instead of just one.  After washing the shirts, the colors are fading a bit.  I already have their Easter shirts designed and will go over it with several coats of paint this time.  And I'm very excited about the Easter shirts too!  Here's Cooper modeling mommy's work.  Excuse his red face, he couldn't stop rubbing them this morning.

 

 

Unfortunately,  I didn't get a picture of Alyssa.  She was miss fuss this morning.  It all started when we were all ready to go downstairs to get ready to leave.  I picked Cooper up but miss fuss wanted me to hold her.  So Park took the burp cloth that was on my shoulder and I handed Cooper over.  Right when Park took Coop, he burped and proceeded to throw up all over Park (who was already dressed for work).  So I took him back so Park could change but Alyssa was not happy that I was still holding her brother.  After a minute or two, I was able to convince her to head down the stairs on her own.  Once the 3 of us got downstairs, she immediately went to play with her toys.  I let her play for a few minutes while I strapped Coop in his car seat.  Once he was strapped in, I went to get Alyssa but she REFUSED to get out of her Cozy Coupe.  I had to drag her out of there and she did not appreciate that.  She started to cry big fat tears and would not let me put her jacket on.  I was able to force one arm in but she kept her arms crossed and I couldn't get the other arm in.  After a few minutes of struggling with her, Park stepped in knowing that my patience meter was full and about to explode.  He was able to calm her down and got her jacket on.  That was how my day started, how was yours? :)

2 Months

Cooper is 2 months and 1 day old today!  I didn't have time to snap pictures or to write a post yesterday, it was a bit crazy.  Cooper had his 2 month well check up yesterday and he's doing great!  My proudest moment was when the assistant came back into the room saying she wanted to weigh him again because he gained a lot of weight since his last check up a month ago.  We checked it again and the number was the same as the first, which means he's now 11 pounds and 7.5 ounces!!!  He gained 4 pounds in one month!!!  Just about a pound shy of what Alyssa was when she was 2 months.  Makes me happy that my little man is packing on the pounds, which means...chubby baby!!!   Everyone keeps asking me how things are going with 2 babies now, and it's not bad since Alyssa is in daycare during the day.  Ask me again when I go back to work in about a month.  I'm sure my answer will be different - haha.  Obviously Coop is eating really well and we're getting there on the sleep.  He wakes about 2-3 time during the night to nurse, which is an improvement from when he first came home.  He stays awake longer now and will coo and kick and throw his arms around to play.  And Alyssa is obsessed with this little guy.  She'll give Cooper kisses freely, but not so with mom and dad.  But it's okay, better to have her love her brother than to not want anything to do with him.  They both keep us busy, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
