Cooper's One Year Photo Shoot

Wow, has it really been 7 months since my last post?  Whoops!  I think I have to do a recap of the last 7 months in another posting.

Now!  Back to why I came back!  Cooper's one year photo shoot!  We shot this at Old Roswell Mill.  What a great place to do a photo shoot.  There were so many different options for scenery.  That day, I think everyone in Atlanta was there.  The place was packed with families getting their Christmas pictures taken.  It was a madhouse but luckily, we were able to find an empty area to do Cooper's cake smash.  He had a great time eating the frosting off of the cake.  After about 10 minutes, Alyssa couldn't wait any longer.  She had to get herself some of the yummy frosting!  We had a great time and as always, our incredibly talented photographer, Angelina at Asterisk Photography, did an amazing job of capturing these images!!

1 Year Photo Session

Alyssa's 1 year photo session was the one I was looking forward to the most.  I had pictures in my head of her just going at it and getting dirty when she got her cake. Well...she wasn't interested in cooperating.  It's ok since we has so much fun at this session.  We were outside and the weather was really nice and sunny.  Here are some of my favorites...

Thank you again to the talented Angelina at Asterisk Photography.   Thank you for being part of Alyssa's first year and capturing the most amazing moments!

Alyssa's First Birthday!

Wow, I can't believe we have a one year old!  How did her first year fly by so fast? It seems like just yesterday we were holding this tiny little babe.  She has brought so much love and joy into our lives, I can't even remember what it was like before Alyssa.

Back in December, I was driving to work and just thinking to myself that I should probably start thinking about her first birthday party thinking that 3+ months wasn't too early to start planning. Then realizing that she would be turning one in less than 4 months!!! What??

I like to thank everyone that was able to come celebrate Alyssa's birthday.  We had a great time and we hope everyone did too!  Also like to thank Stephanie for taking pictures during the party.

Birthday girl was so happy and excited about everyone singing happy birthday to her.

But got a little too excited cause she let go of daddy's hand and went straight for the candle!

Take two...

Thanks for the photo bomb Andy.
