First Day at Daycare

Tuesday was her first day at daycare.  Dad dropped her off since the daycare is located downstairs from dad's office.  Alyssa did really well on her first day.  The teachers said she was really happy and active the entire time there.  She only napped for an hour and a half the entire day!  She was so curious of her surroundings.  Tuesdays and Thursdays are "water play" day at the daycare.  She was out at the playground and had her toes dipped in the baby pool.  Her teacher later told Park that she did not like that at all!  Park was able to visit her during his lunch break.  He was able to feed her a bottle and the entire time he was holding her, she was talking to him trying to tell him about her day!  After her feeding she was milk drunk but still didn't go down for a nap.  This girl is just too social!

2 Months Check Up

Alyssa had her 2 months check up this past Monday.  She's doing really well and gained 2 pounds since her one month check up.  She is now at 12 pounds and 2 ounces!  Her weight is a little above average at 65% but her head is at 85%!!  Big head big brain, right?  She was so happy and talkative while waiting for the doctor.  After her check up, the nurse came in to give her her vaccines.  She received one oral medication and two shots in her thighs, one in each thigh.  And of course, she cried so hard when she received her shots, but calmed down right when I picked her up to sooth her.  She's such a trooper!

Little Monster

Turn up the volume to hear Alyssa making monster noises after a feeding. I took this video a while ago. She was somewhere around 3 weeks and it was about 3 in the morning.

Two Months

Alyssa is two months old!  I love this picture because of the drool...it cracks me up!!  At two months old, Alyssa is probably 12 pounds now.  We will know for sure when we have her two month check up a week from today.  She does a really good job of holding her head up nowadays.  It's still a little wobbly when you pick her up, but during tummy time she's able to hold her head up for long periods of time.  She also does the same thing when we put her over our shoulder during burps.  The other night Park was playing with her and Alyssa started to get really fussy and she started to roll over from her back to her tummy and actually succeeded!  For weeks now, she would try to roll over but her shoulder was always what stops her but guess when she's really mad, she's able to kick herself over!   She still rejects the paci but she has found her right fist that she likes to suck on every once in a while.  When we put her down on her play mat, she's figured out how to make all the toys above her move without having to hit it with her hand.  She would kick the arch bar that holds the toys to make them all move and make noise.  We love it when she interacts with us.  We love talking to her and see her smile and "talk" back.  It's so much fun to watch her get bigger and bigger by the day and see all the things that she's learned.  We love this little girl so much and love being her parents.
