Cooper at 9 Months

Cooper is 9 months today!!!  I can't believe time is going by so quickly.  He is just growing way too fast.

What's new:

loves sticking his tongue out
loves eating soft table foods
loves playing with Alyssa
loves cuddling
loves to put everything in his mouth explore by taste
can pull up to kneel/stand positions
can wave "bye bye" by flapping his arm around
can clap
loves babbling
loves dance parties
went to beach for the first time and loved it!

The series of pictures below is his newest smile.  I remember when Alyssa was doing the same at around the same age.

And these last 2 are very baby model like.  I think I need to send these to Little Tikes!

8 Month Family Session

A few weeks ago we met with our photographer for another family session.  I know I say this every time but it's true - Angelina just produces the most incredible images each and every time!  Guys, I'm telling you, I can not say enough good things about her!  Angelina with Asterisk Photography is Ah-Mazing!  If you are in the market for a photographer, she is the one!!

We met at Piedmont Park and just walked around and hung out on the lawn and just had a great time.  There are so many images that I'm so in love with.  Warning - there are a lot of images...so sit back and enjoy!

Weekend Recap

This past weekend was just fill with building blocks, playing outside, and just enjoying each other.  We didn't have any plans so just took it easy.  We spent Saturday lazing around the house.  Alyssa helped dad mow the lawn for a little bit then she got bored and wanted to ride one of her many riders.  We couldn't go far since Cooper was inside napping.  Once we woke up, I was able to take both kids around the neighborhood for a walk.

On Sunday, I stayed home with the kiddos in the morning while dad went mountain biking with some friends.  Later that afternoon, we decided to let Cooper try some puffs.  He enjoyed them very much and was successful a couple of time getting it in his mouth by himself.  Cooper is always so happy when he see his sister.

After puffs/snacks, we went outside to have a dance party while dad washed cars.  And that was pretty much our weekend.

Classmate's Birthday

Yesterday we attended our very first birthday party for one of Alyssa's classmates!  And it was so much fun!  Not only for Alyssa, but for us as well.  We actually got to hang out and chat with some of Alyssa's classmates parents.  Parents we normally see during drop-off and pick-up that we only say hi and bye to.  We even talked about setting up play dates!

Alyssa had a great time - swinging on the swing (her new favorite!), getting her face painted, eating lollipops, and blowing bubbles!  Since we were invited to a 3 year olds party, I guess that means when Alyssa turns 3, we need to invite her classmates too?  Oh boy, better start preparing myself.

Weekend Recap

Wow!  What a fun and busy weekend it was!  And a much needed family time together since Park was out of town 3 days last week.  We were all so happy to see dad Thursday night and I wish I had captured this on video of Alyssa and Cooper's excitement whey they saw their dad!  The video below is the excitement I get when I pick the kids up from daycare.  Just imagine that times 1,000!  She was so happy to see her dad that she ran into his arms and laid her head on his shoulder for probably 5 minutes.  It was so sweet.  And Cooper man tried to crawl towards dad but he was too excited and was kicking his legs and slamming his hands on the carpet that Park ended up picking him up.

On Saturday, we attended a birthday party for our friend's little boy at a park with an amazing playground.  Alyssa is really into swings and when she saw them, that's all she wanted to do at first.  Then we just hung around the park with friends for the rest of the afternoon.

Then on Sunday, we headed out to Piedmont Park for our family photo session with our amazing photographer.  And on the car ride over to the park, Alyssa decided she wanted to perform for us.

The photo session went really well and I can't wait to see the pictures!  By the time we wrapped, it was time for lunch.  We headed over to Willy's and Alyssa must have worked up an appetite because she ate an entire kids burrito, a cookie and a popsicle!!
